This evening I visited the fish ladders near my home. It is so amazing watching those magnificent fish traveling for thousands of miles with so many obstacles, upstream to reach home. Our spiritual journey is so much like this. Just that intense desire to return home to our true Father, spurs my spiritual journey. There are so many obstacles and it requires so much effort due to all our tremendous programming and the amount entropy within our dimension. Evil has built a huge impenetrable dam and changed the normal course. The rescue attempts involved are also similar to the fish ladders. They are designed to rescue us but they still require our constant effort. You must either move forward or you are regressing, there is no standing still. There are many predators along the way also. The salmon doesn't count the odds or get discouraged, he just keeps swimming. Most of all it takes persistence. Never give up.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Revelation 12:11

Clay in the Potter's Hand
Have many of Christians become hardened and are no longer pliable and surrendered in God's hands? They have everything figured out according to the Bible, end time events, doctrines, Jesus... We should forget everything we think we know or what we have figured out from the Bible and let God show us what is truth, what is happening and what we should do. Perhaps some of us need to make little preparation for what's ahead. Maybe God will take a pre-trib holy group to Him. Maybe He will pour out His glory on His true followers that have given Him their whole hearts, to perform amazing things for Him.
Can we give up control and allow God to transform, shape and mold, all of us? He reveals to us more and more truth through the Holy Spirit as we are moldable to Him. When we refuse to give up our cherished beliefs and doctrines he must put us aside unfinished. Very few of us have not hardened in some way that we hold onto so that He cannot work out the flaws and imperfections in us. He is then unable to create a true and beautiful vessel that holds Jesus, the living water. He is unable to complete His masterpiece of you.
